Alucoil North America continues ACM/MCM training with AEC Daily
Want to learn all about aluminum/metals composite façade panels?
Alucoil North America has an online course focusing on ACM claddings “An ACM/MCM Overview: From Manufacture to Long-Term Performance”.
This presentation will be a course/talk where the following topics will be discussed: the continuous manufacturing process that results in extremely flat and strong panels, installation, paint coatings, and technical aspects of façades made of metal composite panels.
There, you will get information about the fire classification of these panels, as well as a comparison of ACM/MCM attachment systems to evaluate how they eliminate or manage water infiltration behind the panels, while preventing moisture from entering the building interior.
Also discussed is the performance of ACM/MCM with fire-resistant cores and the testing methods required by the building code along with the sustainability benefits of ACM/MCM through the use of highly recycled and recyclable metals.
This is an ‘accredited continuing education’ class (1 Learning Unit) for architects to maintain their standing with the AIA (American Institute of Architects).
