ALUCOIL participe au Salon on arc

ALUCOIL ajoute et continue avec les événements en ligne. Malgré la pandémie mondiale, elle ne s’est pas arrêtée et continue comme toujours d’être au service de ses clients.

Cette fois-ci, ALUCOIL était présent au salon virtuel on arc, un espace de convergence où un grand nombre d’architectes australiens et de marques de renommée internationale ont participé, présentant leurs derniers produits les plus innovants.

Lors de cet événement, le nouveau système d’installation Hidetech® LIGHT a été présenté, pour les panneaux larcore de 6 mm, un système beaucoup plus polyvalent et plus rapide à installer. Cette nouveauté, spécialement conçue pour le bardage des bâtiments, possède un classement au feu A2-s1, d0.

De plus, les panneaux larcore® ont récemment obtenu le certificat EPD, un certificat environnemental préparé conformément à la norme internationale ISO 14025 (ecolabels de type III) qui offre des informations fiables, transparentes et vérifiées sur le cycle de vie d’un produit, démontrant une fois de plus l’engagement d’ALUCOIL pour le respect de l’environnement et la production et consommation responsables (ODS 12).

ALUCOIL MARINE, with larcore® panels, contributes to the construction of the first fast gas-powered ferry in the world

On September 18th, the new “Fast – Ferry” of the company BALEARIA, the catamaran ship Eleanor Roosvelt, was launched.

Built by Astilleros Armón, in Gijón, this fast ferry is 123 meters long and 28 meters wide. It is built entirely in aluminium and is the first in the world to be powered by liquid gas, a great advance in the care of the environment and the marine environment.

ALUCOIL, manufacturer of advanced materials for building, industry and transport, has supplied, through OLIVER DESIGN, the company responsible for the interior fitting out, larcore® panels in different finishes, which have been installed in the bulkheads, ceilings and doors of the different interior areas of the ship.

larcore® is a sandwich panel with an aluminium honeycomb core, formed in a continuous industrial process and certified according to the international IMO MED standards for its application in the naval sector. It is an extremely light and resistant material and its excellent properties make it easy to machine and perfect for naval applications. In addition, it is very rigid, and resistant to tension and compression loads.

ALUCOIL obtains EPD certification for its larcore® honeycomb panel

Last October, ALUCOIL obtained the recognized and prestigious EPD certificate for its larcore® A2 Aluminium Honeycomb panel validated under the International EPD System.

The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an environmental certificate issued in accordance with the international ISO 14025 standard (type III eco-labels) which provides reliable, transparent and verified information on the life cycle of a product.

AENOR, currently has mutual recognition agreements in force with the Swedish administrator EPD International AB, which manages the International EPD System – Environdec programme, which has validated this certificate as an independent operator.

This is an indicator that certifies that larcore® and its manufacturing process maintain their commitment with the environment, which reinforces the image of ALUCOIL as an international manufacturer focused on excellence and continuous improvement of its products.
