HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Have an exhaustive risk prevention policy, and invest significant effort in guaranteeing the occupational health and safety of their workers. Give specific courses in occupational risk prevention to avoid incidents of any type, and to provide all the necessary resources to improve employees’ health and wellbeing. Sponsor the Mirandés Football Club to promote sports. Due to the pandemic, we have obtained the “BSAFE” certification, which accredits that the workspaces are “clean and safe”.

QUALITY EDUCATION

We actively collaborate with local professional training centres and universities. We also sponsor a Master’s in Lightweight Façades and provide the opportunity for two young people to obtain a grant to study free of charge. We give various in-house training courses so our staff can continue their training and adapt to new environments.

At Alucoil® we are developing products for low or even zero energy consumption buildings. To reduce pollution due to transport, we prefer to consume products from local suppliers and periodically raise the awareness of our employees to switch off electronic equipment and lights when not in use. We have also implemented in-house measures to ensure that production processes are more efficient, consume less energy and, therefore, contaminate less.

Alucoil® recycles all the excess material from its products to be give it a new life. The vast majority of its suppliers are local, reducing the carbon footprint of transport. Alucoil® was the first manufacturer of composite panels with the EPD certification. The use and recycling of aluminium entails energy savings of 95%.

Alucoil® materials supplied for sea transport make it more efficient and sustainable, reducing pollution and therefore being more respectful of marine life. In addition, it promotes the use of aluminium as an alternative material to plastic as it is recycled instead of ending up in the ocean.

The internal communication policy of Alucoil® makes it possible to express ideas and opinions at all levels of the workforce, with complete freedom and access for all workers. Alucoil® is a company devoted to the production of aluminium products for enclosures and façades and the manufacture of signi® PElarson® FR and larcore® A2 aluminium composite panels. Its aim is to achieve economical and environmentally sustainable production, to the satisfaction of all interested parties, with a view to being a leading company in the sector.

Thanks to the integration between the firm commitment to offering the customer high quality finishes and materials and be aware of the importance of environmental protection, this Quality and Environment Policy is established, which makes public the company’s desire and commitment to contribute to ongoing improvement in all aspects of its work, both now and in the future.
