Clemente González Soler, “FAE de Oro” Award 2015
The Board of the FAE has recognized the President of ALUCOIL for his ability to transform a family business into a world leader in the aluminium manufacturing industry.
In their meeting today the highest governing body of FAE has unanimously decided to grant Clemente González Soler, president of the multinational company ALUCOIL, with the FAE de Oro 2015 Award – the highest distinction awarded by the Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos. Located in Burgos, Spain, Alucoil, part of the ALIBERICO Group, is specialized in processing and manufacturing of advanced aluminium materials.
Clemente González Soler, president and owner of this industrial and technological company, began operations in 1996 and in just 18 years, has experienced extraordinary growth that has expanded its industrial presence to four continents and is driven by a commercial strategy based on innovation and a commitment to the development of patented products and technologies. Its activity is focused on the production of aluminium advanced materials for architectural, industrial, transport and renewable energy applications.
Over the past ten years the company has grown from just one plant in Miranda de Ebro to a total of five manufacturing plants located in Spain, the United States, Brazil, Morocco and Australia, all geared towards the highest potential markets in the world. This impressive industrial infrastructure is fueled by an extensive sales network that generates sales in more than 60 countries – making up 70% of its production capacity.
Specific ALUCOIL brands such as LARSON® and LARCORE® are already considered worldwide as benchmarks of quality in the field of advanced aluminum materials. LARSON® lends its name to an extensive family of composite panels which globally are present on 70% of monumental building projects. LARCORE®, an aluminium honeycomb panel with extraordinary strength to weight advantages, has brought forth a revolution in the field of materials for the manufacture of mass transportation vehicles such as ships, trains, and buses.
Since 1995, the FAE de Oro Award has been the highest award granted by the business organizations of Burgos to recognize businessman linked to Burgos. The first was awarded to the entrepreneur Avelino Antolin, president of the Antolin Group. Since then there have been nearly twenty recipients from Burgos including personalities like Tomás Pascual (Pascual Group), or Ginés Clemente (Aciturri Group), and Francisco Riveras (Gonvarri). Last year, the award was presented to Ángel Pérez González, president of the manufacturer of biscuits “La Flor Burgalesa”.
The FAE the Oro Award 2015 ceremony will take place on May 14th at the Palacio de Congresos de Burgos (Forum Evolution) and will be attended by entrepreneurs as well as local and regional officials.
