ALUCOIL to Participate in the 2nd International Congress on Windows, Facades, and Solar Protection
On November 13th and 14th, ALUCOIL will take part in the 2nd International Congress on Windows, Facades, and Solar Protection, which will be held at the Riyadh Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid. The event is organized by ASEFAVE (the Spanish Association of Lightweight Façade and Window Manufacturers) in collaboration with Novoperfil magazine.
The congress aims to analyze the current state of the sector and the factors shaping it within a context marked by regulatory changes, the drive for building renovation, and the growing demand for solutions that enhance comfort in buildings and homes.
ALUCOIL will have a prominent role in the “New Regulations” section. In its presentation, the company will share its experience in designing a façade sunshade system that takes advantage of the rigidity and lightness of its aluminum honeycomb panel, larcore®. In the absence of specific regulations governing the calculation of the forces involved and the criteria for façade installation, ALUCOIL has developed an internal methodology to assess the system’s response to wind loads, achieving a safe and efficient integration within architectural envelopes.
